What happened after the challenge was over.

Do you take transit anymore ?

What was the purpose of this exercise other then “Green” PR ?

Glad you made it through the week. Welcome to my life…I haven’t had a car in 5 years and except for the hassle when it comes to getting groceries, our feet, bikes and transit have done the girls and I just fine! Just getting there sometimes is more fun then the destination.

I think the best thing about the car free week might be posts like this. Very interesting!

I like the points about being closer to the city when walking or on transit, with a greater appreciation of neighbourhood features and fellow citizens.

Thumbs up to Joanthan Cote for going car free! My world has become significantly more pedestrian since becoming a stay at home mom and I am shocked at how much I enjoy finding ways to be car free with our 1 year old. I think everyone could benefit from such a challenge. Good on you for completing it!
