He did a great job. But, please do not lose sight. The success of this Festival is credited to the many hours of volunteers of the West End Business Association. Regardless of Chucks poitical asperations, 12th Street will only have "more good news" if residents support local business on 12th and in all of New Westminster. Giddyup!! More good news for 12th street and the rest of New Westminster is that our very own Chuck Puchmyer is considering a run for the mayor chair, nothing wrong with a good old fashion horse race! It was pretty packed and crazy there yesterday. We've lived just shy of 12th for 3 years and this is the first time we'd even heard of the festival, let alone attended. I think I found the wrestling costumes the most amusing, followed up by the long line for the dog wash, and the dunk tank. :) Lots of things and people to gaze at and many products to check out. Not to mention the twist-cone soft serve ice cream... I shot some pics on my iPhone if anyone is interested in seeing them.
