July 17: Summer Movie Series: Grease

Grab a blanket and a friend and head to Queen’s Park Stadium for a movie under the stars. Sit back and relax or sing along to all your favourite Grease songs. Stadium doors open at 7pm. Movie at dusk. July 17, 7pm–10:30pm at Queen’s Park Stadium. Free. Info: 604-515-3775

July 19: Zumba Class at River Market

Start your Sunday off right! Zumba on Sunday morning at the River Market will get you dancing and shaking. No prior dance experience required. Be prepared to have a great time. July 19, 9am–10am at River Market. Tix $5.

July 21-August 16: New West Pride: Group Exhibition

Together with the New West Pride Society, The Arts Council is proud to present it’s first ever LGBTQ exhibit. The show featuring six local artists will feature work ranging from photography to textiles. July 21–August 16 at the Arts Council of New Westminster. Free.

July 21: Writing for Children

Have you ever thought about writing a children’s book? The New West Library is hosting an information session on the basics of writing and publishing children’s books.
