Photo Essay: Joy and Misery

Joy and Misery, by husband and wife photography team Olga and Alejandro.

We have a very special photo essay for this month. In fact, it is two essays combined into one.  New West newcomer Olga Zamudio is tackling our monthly theme, Joy, and her husband Alejandro Mejía, offers the counter-theme, Misery. My thanks to Olga and Alejandro for contributing.

If you are interested in contributing a photo essay for future months, check out the submission guidelines and the upcoming themes.

Joy

Olga has changed (briefly) the beakers and pipettes for diapers and bottles and using this time to explore her passion for science communication. Enjoys the life in Uptown where everything is within walking distance. You can see more of her photos on her Flickr account, Eclecctica.

Misery

Alejandro (or Jubilo) uses his time taking photos and using transit. His brain works in three languages. Born and raised in Mexico City, Lower Mainland resident since 2011. His Flickr account, Jublio Haku is here.
